Sr Project Controller with strong Finance background - direct h

Our client, an established international organization with offices in the Rochester NY area, has an immediate requirement for an experienced and highly-capable Project Controller.

This is a Direct Hire Opportunity for the right candidate.


Description:

Support project with -

Balance sheet account reconciliation.

Sales/GM reporting.

Cash/Billing forecast.

Project Review preparation and Variance Analysis, working in conjunction with Project Manager and Project Planner.

Assist with month-end closing.

Assist with internal and external audits.

Utilize SAP reports to supplement analysis.


Requirements:


4 year Accounting or Finance degree, plus minimum 5 years experience with project or cost accounting.


Strong Microsoft Excel skills.


Strong accuracy, organization, and data entry skills required.


Must be able to meet specificied financial deadlines.


Knowledge of financial reporting and project costing methods within a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.


Microsoft Access skills strongly desired but not absolutely required.


SAP experience a plus but not required.
