Plan and execute IS audits to assure system data integrity. Conduct computer system security and operational audits for existence of and adherence to proper controls and objectives. Identify business risks associated with the IS environment and evaluate the effectiveness of system security measures. Communicate audit results effectively and efficiently. Identify cost effective solution to problems identified in audits completed. Prepare associated reports
detailing findings and develop recommendations regarding corrective actions. Conduct follow-up audits within established time-frame to ensure compliance with audit results/recommendations.Qualifications
Must possess a high level of technical proficiency associated with various operating systems and a strong desire to learn. Proficient with database, word-processing, spreadsheet,
graphics and presentation applications. Systems and/or programming background desired in stated applications. Must have good organizational skills and a high level
of attention to detail and accuracy. Good analytical/problem resolution skills. Good verbal and written communication skills; good interpersonal skills. Ability to work
independently as needed; ability to be flexible to changing priorities and needs. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time; ability to obtain documents for international travel.
EDUCATION/LICENSES REQUIRED: A level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting , Computer Science or related field. Must have experience in the following platforms and operation systems: Novell, Windows NT,Unix, MVS and VM. CPA, CIA , and/or CISA designation preferred. Membership in professional group (IIA, AICPA, GACPA, ISACA, etc.) preferred. Master's degree preferred. Three to five years of job-related experience.
