The position is responsible for assisting the Manager of Internal Audit in planning, directing and conducting Information Technology Services (ITS) audits in order to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of procedures and operating controls. Additionally, this person may be required to fill in for the manager, supervise the other professionals in the department when appropriate, and supervise/coordinate the work of consultants hired by the Department to perform internal audit work.

Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Engineering, Computer Science; or Accounting or Finance (with emphasis in computer related disciplines).
Minimum five years of recent audit experience with a major public accounting firm or corporation
Minimum one year Internal Audit experience.
Supervisory or project management experience required.
Must be Certified Internal Auditor, or Certified Information Systems Auditor.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Preferred:
At least 8 years experience of recent audit experience with a major public accounting firm or corporation with a minimum three years of that experience in Internal AuditEssential Skills
