Sr. Financial Analyst, Program Control

Program Control managers work with client and engagement executives to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SARBOX, and perform various financial and contract management functions. This includes defining financial management processes and reporting; trend and variance analysis; and establishing key performance indicators and engagement metrics.The Program Control Manager North America will be responsible for ensuring consistency in reporting and deliverables across industry groups, developing and tracking the PCO Budget, SARBOX compliance and ad-hoc projectsResponsibilities:
1.Define/establish internal and program control processes: identify requirements, responsibilities, Revenue Recognition requirements, and develop financial reporting package. Work closely with SOX team to ensure all procedures are accurately documented, followed and deficiencies corrected.
2.Analyze key metrics, support monthly financial reviews with engagement teams, and advise Line of Business management in decision making.
3.Manage financial forecasting processes.
4.Ensure compliance to BearingPoint financial policies and procedures, provide support to external financial audits, SARBOX internal audits, and statutory and customer audits.
5.Prepare monthly and ad-hoc program analysis on consolidated basis, as required.
6.Work with the ERP technical to track and resolve system issues.
7.Work with reporting team to improve existing financial reports and develop new reports.
8.Coordinate with groups outside PCO to ensure consistency processes and progress towards business goals.
9.Train, mentor and lead program control staff members.

oCross functional communicationQualifications:
o4-7 years of program accounting/management experience with a track record of increasing responsibilities and supervision
oMinimum of 4 years demonstrated financial management expertise and expert knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
o1+ years Expertise and experience with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
oAtleast 2 years Prior professional services and/or government contract experience requiredPreferred Skills Requirements
