Sr. Financial Analyst

Associates in the finance area are involved in making strategic decisions, measuring and defining financial success and educating the corporation, while interpreting and communicating results and strategies.The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for achieving and maintaining integrity on the balance sheet. This associate will perform balance sheet reviews, reconciliation grading and follow up.Primary Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and analyze the Balance Sheet. Responsible for maintaining balance sheet integrity, thus, must analyze all accounts for accuracy and completeness. This includes researching, documenting, and concluding as to the status of all asset and liability accounts.2. Provide concise, effective reporting of reconciliation grading and areas of concern related to poor reconciliations or development of financial exposure.3.Provide analysis and recommendations regarding major reserves and overall reserves status. Monitor the appropriateness of accounting practices.4. Work with all Analysts on making reconciling and closing improvements. Provide guidance to Analysts related to balance sheet related responsibilities.5. Provide suggestions and help in development of processes and procedures identified as deficient in review of the balance sheet.Qualifications:
1. CPA is preferred but not necessary
2. Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field.
3. Minimum 5+ years of practical work experience.
4. Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to recognize problems and recommend solutions.
5. Strong Excel skills and financial systems familiarity.Apply at
