Sr. Finanacial Analyst/ Asst. Controller

Food Processing Company located in Northern California seeks an experienced Financial Analyst. Reporting to the GM at the facility and the Corporate CFO, the Financial Analysis Manager will be responsible for handling all financial analysis, communication and business details for the Facility north of Sacramento and will move into the role of Controller.


Duties: Monthly closing of books for the facility in Northern California.Compile accurate and timely monthly financial statements.
Create internal audit.Product line margin analysis and update standard costs as necessary.
Financial support for pricing activities and Variance analysis.
Analysis of potential future projects and changes to operations.
Assist in the annual budget process.
Assist in system integration actives.
Drive process flow improvements.
Inventory analysis.
Responsible for corporate cash flow projections and for corporate 3-5 year financial forecasts.
May perform other duties as assigned or requested.The Financial Analysis Manager will work closely with the GM to ensure data and systems are set up correctly for reporting purposes.

This position holds excellent room for advancement. As a direct report to the CFO, this will allow for strong mentoring and guidance by the CFO. You will learn all key aspects of the Finance Department and will assist and learn processes and guidelines for business opportunity evaluation, acquisitions, and costing. You will also manage the Administrative functions for the facility.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university with Accounting/Finance emphasis required; MBA preferred.Minimum of 5 years related experience preferred in cost or financial analysis. System integration & process improvement experience a plus.
Manufacturing environment experience, especially in fruit or related produce is a plus.
Must be proficient with a 10 key adding machine. Must be computer literate including word processing and spreadsheet experience.
