Sr. Controller

Sr. Controller - Company Description: Our client is a rapidly growing force in the Federal integration arena. With over 1800 employees and approaching $300M in sales, they have broken numerous records as they have expanded their presence in agency after agency in the greater metro DC area. Due to significant growth in the finance and accounting sectors, they seek a senior level controller to report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Our client offers an aggressive compensation plan, to $130k or more, along with excellent benefits and an exciting working environment. This position is now open.

Job Description: The successful candidate will be A CPA and will have managed general accounting activities to include payroll, AP, AR, pay roll, cash flow, job-costing, pricing, month-end-close, prepare monthly statements and budgets in a company of $150M or more. Experience with Deltek's Cost Point is required as is direct experience in the AP, AR, Payroll, G&L and Cash Flow modules. You will be well versed in working with DCAA, CAS, FAR and GAAP. Previously working with incurred cost submissions is required. The successful candidate will exercise broad supervision and ensure sufficient testing and control of internal control procedures to safeguard the company. You will coordinate the financial statements, annual financial reports, audit activities, and other information reports and requests; monitor the budget during the fiscal year and presents projections of actual revenues and expenditures, to include final reports, with recommendations for programmatic and fiscal changes based on these reports to executive leadership. Our client offers an excellent compensation plan, which includes a base salary to $140k or more and membership in the executive incentive plan.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree; at least 10 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities of a controller and five years managing a team of five or more. CPA, Cost Point and previous experience in a $150M a year firm or division is required. US Citizenship is required and the ability to hold a Government security clearance is beneficial.
