PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Assist the FAS, Consulting, and xChannel (cross-channel) Product team with business development by determining the needs of a client and crafting solutions to meet those needs.
- Helps to produce those documents that provide the detailed business case. (Vision and Scope, user, functional and business requirements, use cases and deployment strategy document, Project Charter).
- Works with applications developers and designers to make sure development understands the business model and detailed user and functional requirements. Works with project management to coordinate daily activities between applications development and Product Management.
- Produces
release schedules associated with projects. Work with project management to update schedules and project plans for regular project reviews.
- Attends and leads project review meetings. Performs tasks and updates project plan concerning Product Management tasks. This includes producing user updates, priority setting and communications.
- Provides support to project team throughout the project life cycle, as required.
- Participates in the assessment of various technical design sessions to provide details during the development process.
- Understands client's business strategy and needs, and possesses ability to translate them into detailed business and/or technical requirements.PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ years of experience in IT required. 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst/Project Manager in a web development environment strongly preferred.
- Must have in-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle.
- Prior experience combined with
proven ability to manage a variety of projects with varying levels of complexity to successful completion.
- Excellent written, verbal analytical and communications skills required. Must be able to easily grasp and communicate complex ideas.
- Prior experience in a software development position would be considered a plus.
- Extremely high organization and planning skills.
- Experienced in multiple methods of estimating time and resources for task assignments.
- Excellent planning and organization skills. Ability to take a project from inception (idea stage), and organize a plan to deliver the final working solution. Leads and manages all aspects of the project.
- Strong negotiator. Must be able to effectively manage scope of projects and the expectation of the project stakeholders.
- Expert problem solver. Finding simple answers to complex questions or problems. Thinking outside the box. Uses knowledge gained through prior experience, education, training to
resolve issues and remove project barriers.
- Drive for results. Motivates team while constantly driving towards key milestones. Maintains constant awareness of project deliverables; keeps team focused on short and long term milestones.
