As the Sr. Business Analyst you will develop analytical methodologies and models to enhance GreenPoint Mortgage’s (GPM) ability to better predict and understand business drivers (e.g., model validation and development).
Build prepayment models.
Assist in the development and deployment of the Rep and Warranty analysis.
Evaluate GPM product performance.
Communicate analysis results to senior management via regular reporting and presentations.
Identify trends, validate/disprove trends.
Review Risk and Secondary trends against industry benchmarks.Essential Skills
College Degree – preferably business, math, statistics, technology.
Four plus years analytical and quantitative experience .
Strong quantitative skills to include model and scorecard development.
Advanced computer skills – preferably Excel, Access, OLAP tools, PL SQL, and modeling tools.
The ability to work across departments.
Good presentation and communication skills.
Strong sense of initiative.
