Enjoy the stability and comfort of a department with low turnover by joining our Billing and Banking team. We're looking for a top-drawer professional experienced with accounts receivable to handle all billing-related matters for a select group of our customers. You would focus on billing based on our customers' eligibility and assume ownership for all customers assigned to you.



Key responsibilities include:


Assisting the Billing & Banking Supervisor in developing/implementing policies and procedures for billing and account receivable collections


Participating in the development of non-standard terms contracts to determine and implement proper billing procedures


Taking part in company-wide implementation teams representing the Finance department


Creating and maintaining financial databases for accurate and timely revenue and eligibility reporting


Reconciling and analyzing customer accounts, identifying discrepancies and recommending resolutions


Managing billing, reporting and collecting for specific large-dollar accounts


Ensuring department and customer needs are met while meeting departmental collection goals


Supporting additional departments through training, problem-solving and other guidance


Informing management when escalated issues arise


Completing additional duties and projects as needed

Job Requirements:

Our ideal candidate is highly detailed with experience in accounts receivable and strong Access skills. A background in billing, collections and customer service is needed. Experience in the healthcare industry is helpful as well as some experience and/or knowledge of the overall healthcare delivery system (billing and collection, employers, health insurance, providers of service, eligibility and claims). Stellar computer, communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal, leadership, analytical and customer service skills are essential. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
