Sr. Associate, Audit

We are currently seeking Audit Senior Associates to join us in our Fort Worth.KPMG’s Audit practice uses a methodology that transforms the audit process from a traditional compliance-driven function to a risk-based approach by creating a framework for auditors to assess how a client's business risks affect financial statements. This approach offers a more comprehensive view of how a client's unique risk environment affects its financial reporting.Responsibilities:

Participate in the review of client Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) filings

Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to Managers and Partners

Identify performance improvement opportunities

Interact with clients to help ensure that the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficient

Plan and execute the day-to-day activities of audit engagements of various clients, including SEC registrants

Supervise the audit staff assigned to engagements, including completing their performance reviews

Work with the audit team to develop hourly budgets and fee analysis

Assist with the execution of external audit engagements
Job Requirements
Qualifications:

A BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university

Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting procedures

Ability to meet challenging client requirements, provide services, and possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research abilities

Willing to travel

Two years of current and/or recent audit experience in public accounting
