Sr. Accounting Representative

For more information, visit http://www.genworth.com.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES): Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of suspense, disbursements and or clearing accounts, which involves various interacting systems.
Identify discrepancies and take action to balance accounts.
Daily monitoring and review of accounts.
Perform account analysis and research problems as required.
Understand account inputs and related outputs to insure accuracy and proper account usage.
Other duties as assigned.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: College graduate or equivalent experience.
1-2 years prior bookkeeping or accounting experience.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Solid PC skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Access.
Strong analytical and business problem solving skills.
Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Outstanding interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (In addition to Basic Qualifications Required): Accounting degree.
CPA designation.
Two to five years Accounting experience.
Good working knowledge of Cyberlife, Life 70 and LifeComm admin systems.
Good working knowledge of Oracle GL, Oracle Suspense and EWD.
Advanced PC Skills: Microsoft Access and Excel.
