Sr. Accountant/Analyst

Red Ventures owns and operates several dynamic marketing companies in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte, North Carolina. We have experienced double digit growth quarter over quarter throughout 2005, and each month thus far in 2006 has been a record month. We forecast continued quarter over quarter growth throughout 2006.

We are currently seeking an experienced, Senior Accounting Manager / Analyst to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for the financial accounting and analysis for one or more of our growing companies. This is a hands-on position and is an excellent opportunity to grow with a dynamic company.

Responsibilities Include:
•Maintaining and updating company’s financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable using generally accepted accounting principles and practices;
•Preparing monthly financial statements;
•Receiving, processing, and recording all requests for approved and documented disbursements;
•Cash management including maintenance of cash balance and preparing cash requirements forecasts;
•Reviewing and analyzing data from external sites such as internet-based sites and credit card processors;
•Monthly sales tax reporting;
•Ensuring adequate financial controls;
•Preparing presentations for management reviews and quarterly board meetings;
•Performing financial analyses and special projects as requested;
•Providing financial data to shareholders as requested.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance;
•5+ years of relevant experience and demonstrable success as indicated by progressively more responsible roles;
•Proficiency utilizing financial systems and reporting packages – experience with Solomon, FRx, and/or Quickbooks is a major plus;
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office products;
•Excellent communication skills (verbal and written);
•Strong attention to detail and problem solving abilities;
•Good organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
•Must be a team player and possess a good sense of humor.
