Sr. Accountant - (2) Hotels and Construction

We are looking for Two(2) Sr. Accountants, one to support the Hotel Accounting side and one to support the Construction side for a large company in South Orange County.

Our client is a well respected company and highly regarded in the community. Excellent benefits with 3 weeks vacation the first year, up to 4% match on 401k, corporate wellness program and growth within the company is encouraged.

These positions will report to the Commercial Property Development Department.

Sr. Accountant - Hotel responsibilities will include managing the accounting process for the Furniture Fixtures and Equipment/Operation Supplies and Equipment function for a resort development project.
Responsibilities:

Assist with procurement and overseeing of goods form procurement.

Tracking P.O.'s and goods.

Developing spreadsheet in Excel for 200 new vendors and management of the spreadsheet.

Downloading above information into Timberline software.

Budgeting and Forecasting with project managers.

Managing the cash flow process.

Requirements:
BA/BS degree
2-4 years experience in Hotel Accounting
Knowledge or experience with Furniture Fixtures and Equipment process
Excellent Excel skills
Timberline experience a plus
REQUIREMENTS
Sr. Accountant - Construction responsibilities include working with the Project Managers on all aspects of accounting with regards to the construction of a resort development project.
Responsibilities:
Budget and Forecasting
Review invoices and contracts
Month-end reporting
Variance analysis
Draw requests, lien requests, fixed fees, GMAC contracts

Requirements:
3-5 years Construction Accounting experience
Excellent Excel skills
Timberline experience a plus

Salary:
Up to 70K, possibly higher for the right experience
