Sr. Account Clerk

The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates (MFA) is searching for a PAR I to work in the Business Office.



The incumbent will take receipt of lockbox deposit contents and sort into batches for posting; maintain payment logbooks; reconcile completed batches to log book to ensure all batches have been accounted for; balance batches against lockbox deposit and report discrepancies to supervisor; update Daily Cash Report maintained as an Excel worksheet; copy payer remittance advices and provide to Credit and Collections for posting and resolution; file and retrieve batches.
REQUIREMENTS
High school degree is necessary; knowledge of basis office-based applications; proficient arithmetic ability to calculate and total deposits required.
