Spec Field Billing - Albany

Position Overview:
The Specialist Field Billing (SFB) manages the $500m outside party billing process. Approves assignement of projects numbers to track costs that are determined to be billable to a third party. Responsible for the tracking and analysis of the billable projects within an assigned geographic region.

Responsibilities:
Assigns Outside Party Project numbers for rebillable expenses within their geographic area.
Ensures proper documentation is obtained to expedite billing and collection. Monitors projects for accuracy, completeness and notifies the projection completion/ready to bill.
Works with Collections Manager on disputed charges.
Researches projects without expeditures and missing charges on individual tasks within a project. Works with field employees to ensure the projects are complete and ready to bill.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must be familiar with accounting principles and SOX 404. Ability to work and interact with employees throughout the originization. Work as an effective team member.
Undergraduate degree in Accounting or a business related field. Minimum 3 years experience in accounting or related business field. Experience with Oracle required. Experience with MS Excel, Word and Outlook. Construction background a plus.
