Software Consultant
The Position:
K & R Consulting is seeking an additional full time Consultant to implement accounting and business management software solutions for their clients. The position can be located in Des Moines, Omaha or Cedar Rapids. Responsibilities include managing long-term client relationships, implementing software solutions by designing process flows, managing project tasks, training client staff, solving issues as they arise and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. This is a full time position with benefits, including performance bonus, health insurance and 401(k).

The Company was established in 1994 as a firm specializing in the installation and support of MAS 90 Accounting Software. Today the company is one of the Midwest’s largest MAS 90/MAS 200/MAS500 authorized resellers with clients in 17 states and South America and offices in Omaha, Nebraska and Johnston, Iowa.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
A minimum of 3-5 years of accounting and business management software consulting experience.
Formal training or experience with Sage Software applications, MAS 90, FAS, ACCPAC, or other similar high-end accounting software.
Degree in accounting preferred and CPA or MBA a plus
Basic Project Management skills
Custom report design experience using Crystal Reports or FRx a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
Strong problem solving skills, follow up skills and attention to detail
