Small Business Accountant

Leading Bethesda accounting firm looking for a full-time Small Business Accountant to join their fast-paced, dynamic organization. Tax preparation experience a plus, but not necessarily required.
REQUIREMENTS
ACCOUNTING:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) with 4+ years experience
- Proficiency in all aspects of accounting: payroll and associated quarterly/annual reports, accounts receivable, accounts payable, preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements
- Must be familiar with audit, review and compilation procedures
- Proficient with MS-Office suite and Internet research
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable with multi-tasking and completing projects on deadlines

REQUIREMENTS FOR TAX PREPARATION ASPECT:
- Minimum of 4-years experience
- CPA with advanced degree in taxation ideal, CPA (or CPA candidates) w/ Bachelor's degree will be considered
- Experience in preparing all types of individual and corporate tax returns
