This job requires becoming Series 7 and 63 licensed within nine months of hire and developing in-depth knowledge of Edward Jones retirement, education, insurance, equity, and fixed income products, basic tax planning strategies, basic financial calculations, and IRS guidelines necessary to stay abreast of current events. This knowledge is used to Interpret and respond to technical, sales and marketing requests from the sales force via phones and wires on the topic of financial assessment. Analyze and respond to technical and marketing questions and request from investment representatives IRs, branch associates, CPAs, and clients via phone and electronically.
Support the rollout and continued support of the new Financial Assessment tools.

REQUIREMENTS
Associates must be Series 7 and 63 licensed within nine months of hire.
A bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis in finance and/or marketing is preferred.
Life and health insurance licenses preferred but not required.
AAMS designation or equivalent preferred but not required.
One or two years of Edward Jones experience, along with strong analytical skills and a background in sales and customer service, is strongly preferred.
Problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills.
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of various Edward Jones computer commands.(SM) *
