Service Corp seeking a Financial Analyst/Cost Accountant

Classification: Temporary to Full Time Compensation: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour Service company in the western suburbs seeks a financial analyst/cost accountant for a temporary to full-time position. Position reports to the Director of Finance. The duties for the financial analyst/cost accountant will include: Prepares financial and business related analyses and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital and investment. Prepares forecasts and analyzes trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, general business conditions and other related areas. Utilizing PC and/or mainframe based systems and software; compiles and prepares reports, graphs and charts of data developed. Assists in the development of business policies, conducts special financial and business related studies and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of analyses. .A qualified financial analyst/cost accountant will have the following attributes: cost accounting background with 5+ years overall experience.
