Senior & Staff Accountants

Our client, a large Fortune 500 global manufacturer is currently in search of experienced accounting professionals to join their expanding team. We are looking for individuals to rotate every 2-3 years into various corporate accounting/finance functions. The successful candidates will interact heavily with personnel in the business groups as well as corporate functions. You will be a key financial team member, providing valuable accounting financial information that will be used to make business decisions that directly impact the company’s bottom line. Essential Functions:
•Financial Controllership: Assist accounting/finance executives with all financial aspects of the corporation, including accounting, internal controls and internal/external financial matters.
•Strategic Leadership: Assist in providing a clear vision to others of what the organization requires to ensure its future success.
•Empowerment: Assist in creating an environment in which people are involved, included and accountable for their actions; involve others in appropriate decision making.

Initial rotations available:
•Cost Accounting: Assist Divisional Controllers to ensure that all accounts at the plants (North America, Europe & Asia) are reporting in a timely and accurate manner. Work with Corporate Cost Group that own and drive annual standards analysis; ensure that costs are allocated according to established procedures; design, develop and implement policies and procedures.
•Internal Reporting: Provide accounting & financial analysis to this reporting group that provides monthly, quarterly and annual internal reporting including consolidation of worldwide operating results, reporting by business, segment & geographic region. The group provides analysis of worldwide business segments; identify ways to promote efficiency within the reporting process and create a best practices environment.
•Corporate Accounting: Provide accounting analysis and reporting on monthly, quarterly and year end closing process for various business groups. The group analyzes complex accounting issues, research, account reconciliation and special projects as needed by senior management.

REQUIREMENTS
•Degree in Accounting/Finance
•CPA or MBA preferred.
•1-3 years experience for staff positions.
•3-8 years experience for senior positions.
• “Big 4” Public Accounting and Corporate and Business Finance roles in corporate accounting in a multi-national publicly-traded or privately held corporation.
•Reporting knowledge/experience a plus.
•Exposure to various organizations
