Senior Staff Accountant, High Visibility, Fortune 500, Reporting
Fortune 500 Financial Services Corporation :
This position will prepare the corporation and its subsidiaries' audited financial statements, notes and schedules, and the MD&A included in annual and quarterly SEC and other filings. The scope of this job is working in Shareholder Reporting Team preparing quarterly financial information for the Company's Board of Directors and an Investor Supplement. Additional responsibilities of the team include debt compliance reporting, preparation or review of subsidiary external GAAP reporting and special projects. Manages complex Accounting/Financial/technical projects. Have the ability to manage the activities of a unit/team or project.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of SEC standards
- Excellent technical accounting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelors degree in accounting required
Experience Required:
-5-7 years of auditing experience in a Big 4/Public accounting firm, report writing experience, insurance and/or financial services experience, SEC reporting experience, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and S-3.
-CPA a plus.
