Senior Staff Accountant - Fortune 500 - To 70K

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious Accountant looking to leave public accounting or Fortune 500. This is a high visibility position reporting directly to a former Big 4 Manager in our client's corporate accounting department. You will be a key financial team member, providing valuable accounting financial information that will be used to make business decisions that directly impact our client company’s bottom line. Future opportunities will be provided as the candidate becomes acclimated with our client’s environment.

Responsibilities include:
Assisting with month, quarter and year end financials.
Analyze complex accounting issues, research, account reconciliation and special projects as needed by senior management.
General ledger reconciliation and journal entries.
Identify ways to promote efficiency within the financial reporting process.

Candidates must be either U.S. citizens or Green Card holder.

REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Accounting/Finance
CPA or MBA preferred.
1-2 years experience for staff position.
3-5 years experience for senior position.
Public Accounting and Corporate Finance role.
Reporting knowledge/experience.
Results oriented/take charge personality
