Senior SAP Payroll Administrator

FMC has partnered with SAP to develop and implement a new human resource/payroll system and as a part of this initiative, FMC will also open a Human Resource Service Center (HRSC) to deliver the SAP-based transactional services for 2,800 U.S. employees and nearly 13,000 retirees. The Senior Payroll Administrator will be responsible for the timely administration, reconciliation, and compliance tracking of all Payroll processes working closely with employees, vendors, HR and Tier 2 Payroll via telephone, e-mail or other correspondence. The Senior Payroll Administrator will also provide payroll service support on escalated cases.Requirements:
· Serve as point of contact for escalated Tier 2 Company payroll cases that the Tier 1 Payroll team need further direction and assistance with.· Prepare reports for payroll statistics and submits to Payroll Manager. Assists the Payroll Manager with analyzing metrics for the Payroll team and initiating action plans to improve service levels and issue resolution.· Audit weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.) for management.
· Review overpayment calculations, manual check requests, GL re-classes and submits to Payroll Manager for approval.
· Ensure pay cycle and post cycle reports are resolved in a timely manner.· Develops and produces reports that measure the quality and effectiveness of the payroll operations.
· Assists with training as required.

REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
· Minimum 2+ years SAP Payroll experience required
· 2 years call center experience
· Prior experience directing others, or as a senior staff member
· Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
· Team outlook, great written/verbal communication skills and ability to counsel.
· Ability to handle issues involving sensitivity, confidentiality and legal exposure.
· Professionalism, and the ability to balance urgency and decisiveness with patience and compassion.
· Ability to coordinate complex projects independently, prioritize, time manage and multi-task.
· Solid understanding of Payroll Processing and applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.Education:
· Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent.
