Senior Project Manager

Exante Financial Services (EFS) is business segment of Uniprise, a UnitedHealth Group company. 1.) Manage budget for areas involving product teams, computer system development, computer hardware and computer software needs.
2.) Work closely with Leadership in strategic planning for major product development&deployment needs
3.) Consult with all Directors to plan for their business product needs and strategic plans.
4.) Develop project proposals and determine time frame, funding needs, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements and allotment of resources to various phases of project.
5.) Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
6.) Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required.
7.) Direct the production of requirement documents which communicate process workflow and data/functional needs effectively and accurately to both business stakeholders and technical staff.
8.) Manage the development and execution of user acceptance test plans, training, user documentation, and implementation of new systems.
9.) Prepare project reports for senior management

Job Requirements:

1.) 10+ years solid experience in Program / Project Management





2.) PMI or equivalent industry recognized certification preferred.





3.) Minimum five years experience / exposure to business and systems analysis.
4.) Minimum two years experience in a managed health care environment, preferably a managed care company.
5.) Knowledge of system development lifecycles and documentation standards.





6.) Proficiency in workflow examination and system requirements analysis.
7.) Outstanding written,. verbal, and project management skills.
8.) Extensive experience providing supervision to project personnel.
9.) Ability to communicate internally and externally with all levels of employees, including senior management.
10.) High proficiency with MS Word, Excel and especially MS Project.
11.) BA/BS required, Master's degree preferred
