(NYSE-BE) is one of the world's largest business consulting and systems integration firms dedicated to aligning business and systems to empower Global 2000 companies and government organizations.BearingPoint's Emerging Market's team is currently searching for an experienced Financial Manager working out of our McLean, VA office.Job DescriptionProvide financial oversight for a high profile multi-billion dollar national telecommunications project. Oversee contract management and accounts payable function. Coordinate annual audits of program expenditures and provide executive level briefings to program leadership and the federal government sponsorRequirements8-10+ years in experience with:
Financial reporting, including external and internal reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual reporting)
Coordinating annual audits of program expenditures (estimated at over $2 Billion over 3 years)
Assessing reasonableness of program expenditures
Assessing program risk and develop plans to address risk
Providing executive level briefings to program leadership and the federal government sponsor
Developing financial processes, policies and controls
Defining financial systems requirements and support financial systems implementation
Overseeing forecast of program expenditures
Coordinating with operational, legal and accounting/finance personnel to implement program objectives
Overseeing contract management and accounts payable function of an estimated $1 Billion in program costs
CPA with undergraduate degree in accounting/finance or related business
