Senior Manager, Derivative Accounting & Policy

Responsibilities:Compliance
Monitor and ensure all derivative activities are in compliance with stated policies
Review documentation folders for completenessAccounting
Provide review oversight of all derivative (FAS 133) accounting entries on a daily/monthly/quarterly basis
Understand and research the accounting landscape to anticipate changes in derivative accounting standards and their effect on our current strategies
Serve as chief liaison between the company and its outside auditors for derivative accounting issues
Prepare MD&A disclosures for 10Qs/10KsPolicies and Procedures
Maintain the derivative (FAS 133) accounting policy
Maintain the derivative (FAS 133) operational proceduresStrategy
Provide timely and actionable advice on the treatment for new hedging strategies.
Understand derivative accounting !
strategies that are implemented at other financial institutions and recommend new or refined strategies for ETB.
REQUIREMENTS


- CPA with a minimum of 7 years of experience
Auditing/consulting experience a plus
Solid understanding of the economics of derivative hedging strategies
2-3 years of consulting experience on derivative (FAS 133) related issues
High degree of organization skills. Detail orientated and the ability to work in a deadline driven environment
