Senior Manager

- Responsible for overall successful completion of small business engagements. - Recognizes the opportunity of providing new and innovative services and demonstrates the ability to pursue such opportunities. - Effective at retaining clients and development of new clients. - Skilled at preparing complex client correspondence including recommendations, technical issues and proposals. - Demonstrates effective oral communication skills through formal presentations, training sessions, speeches, etc. - Effectively identifies and pursues cross-selling opportunities with clients. - Participates in, and thoroughly documents, the final review/evaluation process with staff. - Ability to provide mentoring and leadership to junior staff. Partner potential approx. 3-5 years based on successful performance in role.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have: - 8-10 years related accounting experience, with preferred emphasis in tax experience - CPA license - Corporate/individual tax return experience - Familiarity with compilations and reviews Audit experience a plus but not required Prior sole proprietor or smaller-firm environment a plus for the right candidate background
