Candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of large-scale business application systems using web technology.
Responsible for gathering requirements, designing/documenting application architectures, performing business and technical design including web page design, Java coding, unit and system testing, acceptance testing support, performance testing/tuning, implementation and post-implementation support. Position will involve extensive customer interaction and leading small teams of Java developers.Basic Qualifications:
At least 8 years of software development experience
4 years of J2EE experience to include Java Server Pages (JSP), Struts framework, Java Message Service (JMS), and Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB).
Position also requires 4+ years of logical and physical data modeling and familiarity with one or more of the following relational database management systems (RDBMS): Oracle, DB2, SQL Server.
Candidate must have at least 1 year experience leading team efforts and at least 3 years providing coaching/mentoring to others.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree preferred
Prior management experience preferred
Experience with Web Services/SOAP, IBM WebSphere Application Server, ILOG JRules, and FileNet would be a plus.
Strong analytical and communications stills
Must be able to adapt and support functional strategies
Excellent verbal/written communication & interpersonal skills
Analytical ability and decision-making skills
