Senior J2EE Programmer Analyst

My client is seeking a Senior J2EE Programmer Analyst to be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions. The senior J2EE Programmer Analyst will integrate a Java / J2EE web commerce platform, ATG, with Interwoven and Oracle Applications; research and recommend technology direction to meet anticipated business expectations, define coding standards and best practices and participate in all aspects of the project life-cycle from requirements to delivery.Specific responsibilities include:
•Serving as an internal consultant to provide technical direction at all stages of the e-commerce lifecycle.
•Performing end-to-end technical assessment & feasibility analysis, conducting concept development and evaluating & developing solution designs.
•Evaluating alternatives, recommending approaches, leading design and creating solid technical solutions for complex business requirements.
•Developing specifications and defining & monitoring application & development standards.
•Proactively reviewing the stability-scalability of the e-commerce platform and participating in project delivery and roadmap development.
•Leading a team of Herbalife staff and offshore developers through architecture, design, build, test, and enhancement of corporate e-commerce solutions.Local candidates are encouraged. REQUIREMENTS
The chosen Sr. J2EE Programmer Analyst will have:•10 + years of IT development experience
•7 + years experience with Java/J2EE
•At least 4 years experience with a leading IDE, such as JBuilder, JDeveloper, NetBeans or Eclipse,•4 + years experience with J2EE architecture
•3 + years experience with ATG implementation and custom development
•3 + years experience with JDBC with major RDBMS backend (Oracle or SQL Server preferred)
•Experience with J2EE architecture for large-scale real-time transaction processing applications
•Deep expertise in developing EJBs, Servlets, Java Server Pages, Tag Libraries, XML, XSLT, Web Services, DHTML/JavaScript etc…
•Master at understanding and debugging complex application issues a must
•Familiarity with ANT, JUnit, JMeter and similar tools
•Thorough understanding and real-world experience with implementing J2EE design patterns
•Experience in tools and techniques for OOA, OOD, UML
•4 year degree preferredIt is a plus to have:•Experience with Oracle™ applications, database and PL/SQL
•Experience with Integration with Interwoven™ CMS•Working knowledge of MS SQL Server and T-SQL
