Senior Information Technology Auditor

The position responsibilities include leading and conducting the planning, coordination and performance of application and general systems control audits, control process reviews, system development reviews, and preparation of audit reports for the company’s various operating units within the cruise/travel/hospitality industry.
The Individual will be involved with detailed audits of information technology systems and infrastructures to verify systems are secure and support the related applications/business processes. This role will also entail developing audit programs, evaluating system controls, documenting audit results, making recommendations, and communicating findings to senior management. Our computing environment, which is distributed across several locations within the U.S. and Europe, includes SUN Solaris UNIX, Windows NT/2000, as well as Unisys and IBM Mainframe systems.
Depending on the level of seniority of the position, an Information Systems Auditor typically requires a minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience auditing information systems in a “Big 4” and/or large, complex company environment that include technical and Systems Development Reviews. Proven analytical and organizational skills to enable the senior to work independently on multiple projects, and meet deadlines while ensuring quality results, is expected. Knowledge of information systems security and controls for LAN/Client/Server, mainframe (IBM; Unisys), UNIX, Windows 2000/NT, Oracle, as well as e-Commerce and Internet/web technologies is desirable.
REQUIREMENTS
A bachelor’s degree in management information systems and/or accounting is required. A master’s degree is a plus. Professional certification, such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and/or CPA is a significant plus. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, computer assisted audit tools and experience with ACL is required. The position will involve approximately 10-15% travel.
