Travel: 1-25% for training or meetingsStrong Sr. Government Accountant to assist with audit compliance. This is a newly created position within Bearing Point’s Corporate Accounting & Finance Team.Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must have 5 years of government accounting work experience.

Candidate must have at least 2 years planning, budgeting, and analysis experience.

Bachelor’s degree with major in finance, economics or accounting required or 5+ years work experience in related industry.
Preferred Qualifications:

At least 3+ years utilizing Microsoft Applications (with demonstrated experience using Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

CPA Certification

Excellent verbal/written communication & interpersonal skills with ability to summarize and present analysis to senior level managers.

Excellent outstanding leadership, negotiation and communication skills in addition to project management and implementation skills.

Ability to establish influential partnerships at assigned levels.
