As a Senior Fund Accountant you will provide support to FIN 46 properties with regard to accounting issues as well as tax syndication and overhead accounting/reporting. You will account for tax syndication activities, property level accounting, overhead accounting and fixed asset accounting including account reconciliation preparation and account review and analysis. You will also prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements for properties that are consolidated under FIN 46. Additionally, you will assist with preparation of property level audited financial statements and tax return preparation for approximately 40 properties as well as financial statement consolidation as required under FIN 46.Job Requirements
To qualify, you must possess:
•Bachelor's Level Degree in Accounting, CPA/MBA preferred
•3-5 yrs. relevant experience
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with PeopleSoft general ledger preferred. Affordable real estate or lending enterprise experience a plus
•Qualified candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
