Senior Financial Writer/Researcher

Regional Magazine has an opportunity for an experienced Financial Writer/Researcher to join our editorial staff. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Journalism along with superior copy editing and project management skills. Very high level of attention to detail, proven ability to research and edit financial data and lists in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to learn and come up to speed very quickly. Must have a demonstrated ability to work with standard software programs and master new media.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:The ideal candidate will have:
-A complete understanding of the magazine publishing process;
-An excellent grasp of contemporary English usage;
-Bachelor's and/or masters degree in Journalism, Business/Finance or English;
-Minimum 3 years research/writing experience;
-A meticulous eye for detail-Experience in editing/writing lively, substantive and useful articles;
-Demonstrated experience troubleshooting editorial and production of a 4-color publication;
-Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Quark and the Adobe suite;
-Advanced internet research skills;-News media experience-Ability to maintain a system of collecting and consolidating data into a solid reusable format for e-commerce opportunities
