Senior Financial Systems Analyst

The purpose of this role is to provide support of the financial and business intelligence systems. In addition, provide support for the implementation of new projects in these areas.Support of the operational Oracle financial system and/or the business intelligence applications, project leadership, project participation and training of users.
Provide support for system audits
Work directly with Accounting, Finance and Operations leadership and staff to support their financial/analytical system needs and identify areas for improvement related to systems above.
Provide support in resolving functional systems issues.
Provide support in the implementation of new systems initiatives and improvement projects.
Resource for providing ad hoc financial reporting using SQL, Oracle Discoverer and other tools.
Support training of Oracle modules (GL, AP, AR, CE, FA, PO, INV) and/or Business Intelligence Systems.
Key contact regarding functional questions for systems above.
Provide functional support on Business Intelligence initiatives (e.g. Performance Metrics).
Provide support in technical developments via Excel spreadsheets (VBA) and other tools (e.g. Web based solutions).
Work with remote Americas locations in support of responsible financial systems. This includes Canada, U.S., Mexico and South America locations.
Work with the corporate entity as necessary for support of financial rollup and/or corporate initiatives.
Supports projects as project coordinator, project manager or subject material expert.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Accounting, Finance or MIS)
Accounting/Finance Background
Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
Oracle Financials Applications Knowledge
3 or more years of experience with Oracle Financials (Version 11i)
1 year of Essbase experience
1 year experience in providing ad hoc reporting
2 or more years experience in spreadsheet development
Experience with relational databases and SQLAdditional desired:
Certified Public Accountant
Bilingual: English and Spanish
Experience with programming languages (Java, VB, PL/SQL)
Oracle Discoverer experience
Business intelligence process experience
