Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

ARS Direct is currently seeking an experienced Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join our manufacturing client in Worcester, MA. This is great opportunity to join a fantastic company.
In this position, your primary responsibilities will include:
*Preparation of monthly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and parent company reporting guidelines
*Perform an ongoing evaluation of new accounting pronouncements and analyze relevance to the company
*Write accounting polices as needed to respond to new pronouncements, including coordinating their implementation throughout the company
*Collaborate across business units to provide financial data, analyze data and resolve complex issues
*Monitor key performance indicators and the management reporting function to ensure coordination for financial disclosures
*Support external audit requirements
*Assist in the analysis of internal controls for suggested improvements and compliance
*Other special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and a CPA. You must also have a minimum of 4+ years combined experience with a minimum of 2+ years experience in public accounting on large publicly held companies and 2+ years experience in SEC reporting at an SEC registrant or some combination thereof;
*Demonstrated skill in working with and building teams
*Experience with Oracle
*Experience with Crystal Reports
*SOX 404 experience a plus
Must have worked in a manufacturing facility.
