Senior Financial/Cost Analyst - Production and Operations - Beau

The Senior Financial/Cost Analyst is responsible for conducting and documenting complex financial analysis projects for Beauty Avenues, the division of Limited Brands responsible for commercializing and producing all personal care, beauty and home fragrance products for Bath and Body Works, Victoria’s Secret, Henri Bendel, and White Barn Candle Company. Analyzes and forecasts performance of assigned projects to established goals. Supports with end-to-end management of new product costing for all internally developed or co-developed products
Improve the process and create tools to support the new product costing process to ensure the creation of accurate costs from the start of development through production
Identify cost savings opportunities for Beauty Avenues to take advantage of scale and buying power. Perform analyses, synthesize data and present recommendations to senior management
Create and perform ad hoc reporting projects
Perform special projects and assigned analysis as directed
Work with cross-functional partners to ensure all costing information is accurate and provided on a timely basis to the appropriate function
Provide hindsight on projects and apply best practices to future product launches
Partner with Supplier Relationship owner to ensure costing compliance throughout the life of all new products
Support annual and long range strategic planning processes
REQUIREMENTS
Three to five years of financial experience
Experience in manufacturing or consumer goods/retail environment a plus
SAP experience a plus
Ability to model complex business questions/issues
Ability to think analytically and creatively
Demonstrated initiative and drive to achieve results
Ability to build partnerships across functions at various levels of the organization
Strong oral and written presentation skills
Advanced database skills required
Advanced PC skills including Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Strategy/Management consulting experience preferred
