Senior Financial Business Analyst

Senior Financial Business Systems AnalystA major consumer product firm is seeking a seasoned and energetic finance and systems professional for the role of Senior Financial Business Systems Analyst. This role reports directly into the CFO and will supports the Sales, Merchandising, Operations and Marketing organization. Major responsibility will be for financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting, and will take a leadership role in defining new financial and operational processes.RESPONSIBILITIES:- Development of worldwide budgeting and planning processes- Lead the preparation of revenue forecasts and business metrics reports.- Work with product management, engineering, sales, ops, and finance teams to implement financial processes and systems to define the financial requirements for new product initiatives- Develop models to support company initiatives and/or financial decisions
- Responsible for the day to day operating performance of our MAS 200 operating system concerning routine transaction processing ( accounts receivable and payables, GL, sales order entry,EDI, purchasing, etc.)
- Provide application system support, build and maintain data refresh processes ( crystal reports) for applications needed by users .
- Work with all functional areas to develop global business processes system upgrades.- Through evaluation of all user requirements, evaluate and recommend software solutions to meet the needs of all users and support IT requirements of company.- Compliance with company policies and procedures regarding implementations of security, user access and data retention.
- Supervise approval process of chargebacks. Ensure all chargebacks are reflected in current ancillary reports (excel). Review monthly AR aging and update reserve for approved chargebacks not written off aging.

REQUIREMENTS
Ideal Candidate will possess:·BS in Accounting, Finance, Business and with at least a GPA of at least a 3.5. MBA a plus.
·3-7 years financial analysis experience with at least 2 years of system/ operational experience preferred.·Strong experience creating financial models, including database manipulation (e.g. experience with Crystal, Excel, PowerPoint).
