Job Description: Financial Advisor

Area of Focus: This position is responsible for obtaining and consulting with clients.

Profile

The Financial Advisor position is highly entrepreneurial and involves extensive client development, prospecting, and consultation. Financial Advisors listen to their client’s life goals and objectives and develop financial plans that help them achieve these goals.

Skills Required to Perform the Duties of the Job

•Superior written and oral communication skills
•Superior organizational skills
•Strong financial aptitude
•Utilize MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), and Financial & Insurance Planning technology
•Ability to use independent judgment on a regular basis with only general supervision
•Consistent use of discretion and judgment
•Established business of long-term relationships with affluent clients

Educational Requirements

•3+ years experience as a Financial Advisor
•CFP®, CIMA®, or other related professional certification is strongly preferred
•Bachelors degree in a business related discipline is strongly preferred
