Senior Finance Manager

Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance including working with other departments on a global basis to document processes/controls; review work performed by others to ensure accuracy and manage and train others on use of on-line system. Meet disbursement operational standards by contributing best practice info to strategic plans and reviews. Meet financial standards by providing annual budget info, monitoring expenditures, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions. Pay invoices by verifying invoice coding, verifying transactions, scheduling disbursements and obtaining authorization of payments. Resolve account discrepancies by evaluating and approving investigations and resolving special cases. The Candidate will maintain financial security by following internal accounting controls. Verify approval and authorization of disbursements. Assist in the preparation of budgets, reviews, updates and analysis including projections and special projects. Ensure all department processes and procedures abide by CA Finance/Accounting policies and principles. Manage the day to day activities of various financial groups while reviewing the accuracy of departmental procedures. Maintain the General Ledger Financial System. Prepare status reports for executive management.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years previous finance, accounting, or related experience. Demonstrated experience with budgetary or other financial accountability. Prior experience managing a staff (including hiring, evaluating, and/or terminating). Proven background in the development of policies and processes. Strong written and verbal communication skills with strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office. A strong ability to multitask, strong analytical skills, ability to meet deadlines and highly customer focused. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field. Business travel of approximately 10 percent yearly is expected for this position.It's an exciting time at CA.
