Senior Data Analyst

San Diego based firm located in the Carmel Valley/Del Mar area has an immediate need for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to work directly with the Director of Information Systems to ensure that the many data related tasks related to our Lease Databases are performed in a timely manner, with high quality assurance so that no data is lost and all data flow is documented and capable of audit. The Senior Data Analyst will be expected to assist with converting data formats between such types as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, delimited text files, etc. The ideal candidate will be required to import or load various data files into Microsoft Access and Microsoft SQL Server with 100% accuracy and integrity. The Senior Data Analyst must have a strong understanding of database concepts, including normalization, redundancy, and integrity. The Data Analyst will be using SQL Server 2005 to manage the many databases for the company, using stored procedures, SQL queries, and triggers. Secondarily, the ideal candidate will be developing reports from the data, primarily using Microsoft's Reporting Services 2005, for both internal management and our external clients.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION REQUIRED: Degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5+ years experience with Microsoft Excel and VBA macros. 5+ years experience with Microsoft Access 3+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server writing queries and/or TSQL stored procedures. 1+ years experience with Microsoft Reporting Services SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Advanced skill with Microsoft Excel macros and functions. Advanced skill with Microsoft Access queries, link tables, query builder, etc. SQL Server 2005 SalesForce experience would be beneficial, but not required. Excellent customer service attitude, with organizational and time-management skills.
