AccountSource Financial Staffing has partnered with a well established international manufacturer to recruit professional cost accountants for their South Carolina and Virginia plant locations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Manufacturing Support – Involvement in physical inventories, inventory controls and transactions. Work with Plant Controller and Cost accounting team in producing accurate accounting entries and maintaining good controls of cost accounting systems. Assist and support manufacturing management in decision-making and understanding of financial consequences and results of decisions. Should have a good understanding of plant and affiliate close procedures.

System Support – Good knowledge of standard costing systems, as well as overall manufacturing systems. Ability to dig in and find good business solutions. Help with ongoing system configuration, as well as future implementations and upgrades.

REQUIREMENTS
* 3-5 experience in a manufacturing setting
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
* MBA, CPA, and/or CMA a big plus
* Cost accounting background
* Independent, assertive, but also a team-player
* Strong computer skills
