(2005).We have an immediate need in our Atlanta office for a Senior Consultant - Forensic Accountant. Our Disputes and Investigations services include forensic accounting, accounting/economic and financial analysis; damages quantification and expert testimony for litigation and other disputes.Position Summary:
We are looking for professionals with 2-5 years of public accounting audit experience, outstanding technical accounting and analytical skills, and a commitment to continuous professional growth. Candidates who meet the minimum criteria will have the opportunity to work on a variety of engagements that leverage and build upon their capabilities and skills in a dynamic and professional consulting environment.A sample of diverse consulting engagements include: forensic accounting and whistleblower investigations, consulting on complex accounting and financial reporting matters, mergers and acquisitions due diligence and purchase price disputes, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations, Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance, business process reviews and risk assessments, government contracting and regulatory compliance (contract claims and disputes, CAS, FAR, TINA, indirect rate calculations, and incurred cost submissions, etc.) and litigation support.Candidates will work with multinational companies and their legal counsel across various industries, including, but not limited to, aerospace and defense, shipbuilding, construction, energy, IT services, and healthcare.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs and supervises detailed fact finding, research and analysis
Directs and develops computer models including detailed and potentially complex spreadsheet analysis
Supervises and conducts data gathering activities including document review and supervision, and quality control of data entry activities
Supervises appropriate personnel including Consultants, client personnel, clerical support, and others as appropriate.
Responsible for engagement planning
Prepares client communications for senior level review
Coordinates administrative functions including time tracking and bill preparation
Active Mentor to ConsultantsIdeal candidates will also possess the following:
Strong academic record
CPA certification or currently a CPA candidate
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
