Senior Consolidations Accountant

This position will be responsible for preparing financial information of the Risk Management and Financial Services Business Units of Cargill that includes Corporate Financial Reporting, FDC software maintenance and performing various reconciliation between the general ledger and corporate financial information.



Principal Accountabilities:



25 %   Prepare corporate Financial Reporting Packages on a quarterly basis.

20 % Prepare various general ledger reconciliation to corporate management information for select worldwide RMFS business units.

15% Monthly P&L reporting and reconciliation of world-wide P&L.

30% Complete or assist in completion of miscellaneous projects.

10% Assist in the preparation of the annual CLT budget.
REQUIREMENTS


Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.

Minimum 4 yrs related accounting experience.

Proven analytical skills, problem solving skills and ability to be effective team player.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, self motivated.

Solid experience utilizing technology and systems - with a focus on continuous improvement.

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Desired:

Previous work experience in consolidations and FDC software.

Demonstrated customer service and continuous improvement focus.
