Senior Collector (Recovery)

Recovery Mainstream Analysts are responsible for recovering on all Consumer Loan Losses (charge off Credit Cards, Auto/Lease, Secured and Unsecured accounts). Follows up on delinquent and charged off accounts and makes all efforts to collect loans owed to the bank. Contacts delinquent customers in order to secure balance and and determine reason for charge off. Accounts may be in an active recovery or bankruptcy state. Reviews accounts for salary offset, legal and agency referrals to vendors as well as make recommendations to management regarding outsourced accounts. Work a flexible 40hours work week with alternating weekends.

Must be able to work well independently, possess excellent decision-making ability, and display strong analytical skills. Exemplification of strong leadership skills is a requirement. Must effectively communicate with superior negotiation skills. Established unit production standards and goals are required to be fulfilled monthly. Must be able to adapt to a fast paced and constantly changing environment with proven multi-tasking skills. Collections experience, a working knowledge of bankruptcy laws, estate recoveries, Fair Debit Collections Practices Act, and legal experience are desired.
