Senior Budget Analyst

The Senior Budget Analyst will perform the budget analysis for a JSC NASA Business Management Office. Primary responsibilities will be to collect and integrate data from program managers and SAP; identify, evaluate, analyze, track and report budget liens and threats; collate and interpret budget information for NASA personnel; document processes performed; and, serve as lead for specific tasks. Must be able to create and/or edit with minimal supervision complex budget functions, plans, and analyses of business/program plans/baselines. Will also be responsible for special projects, as well as supporting forecasting of program specific budget items and presentations of program data as required.
REQUIREMENTS
A Master’s with 5-7 years of domain experience, or a Bachelor's with 8-10 years of domain experience is required. Candidates should have fundamental understanding of statistics and must be thoroughly familiar with government budget processes, cost principles, policies, and procedures. Accounting experience is required. Candidates should have working knowledge of EXCEL. Preferred candidates should have working knowledge of @Risk software. Effective communication with customer’s management level and engineering personnel is mandatory. Business Experience with NASA SAP is strongly preferred. U.S. Citizenship is required
