Senior Benefits Accountant

Responsibilities: The Senior Benefits Accountant will have active participation with cost center management to ensure accuracy of monthly results, including analysis of variances to budget and forecast. This role is responsible for the following duties: Prepare monthly forecasts for cost centers and special projects as needed by management. Perform complete and thorough reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts related to department activities and timely resolution of open issues. Prepare, analyze, and forecast allocations from corporate to other business units. Ongoing monitor processes and documentation to ensure adequacy of internal controls. Coordinate the Balance Sheet budgeting process on an annual basis. Perform general ledger account administration and maintenance for the corporate business unit. Ongoing monitor key controls within the department to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley. Monitor existing processes for continued improvement. Additional assignments as determined by management. Be responsible for timely and accurate reconciliation of various benefits accounts. Be responsible for various journal entries related to benefits account.
