Senior Auditor (Very Low Travel!)

This position will be responsible for conducting and documenting audits to ensure the adequacy and application of internal accounting, financial controls, operational controls, and compliance with plans, policies and procedures. The successful candidate will also provide value-added services in the form of recommendations for improved controls and enhanced business efficiencies. This position will report to the Director of Internal Audit and will work to ensure that Internal Audit Department objectives are met.
REQUIREMENTS
BBA Degree in Accountancy (MBA and CPA are desirable). At least 2 years recent audit experience necessary (Public or Private) with an emphasis on substantive and analytical testing of financial statement accounts.
Experience with Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 testing and documentation is highly desirable.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and organizational skills. Must be able to work independently under limited supervision with moderate latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
Ability to manage several concurrent audits that may be assigned and to work a flexible schedule to accommodate audit deadlines. 10-20% domestic travel may be requested as business needs require. The ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with various levels of management is an important aspect of the position. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite is required and knowledge of Peoplesoft is a plus.
