Senior Associate, Pharmaceuticals

We are currently seeking a Senior Associate to join us in our Los Angeles office focused on the Pharmaceutical industry.KPMG ForensicSM professionals assist organizations in their efforts to achieve the highest level of business integrity through the detection, prevention and investigation of fraud and misconduct. Our Forensic professionals strive to not only help our clients discover the facts underlying concerns about fraud and misconduct, but also assist clients in assessing their vulnerabilities to such activities, and in developing controls and programs to address these risks.
Responsibilities:
Work effectively with both client and firm personnel from a variety of disciplines and at various levels to develop and provide services for critical business needs. Specific activities include:
oAssisting with the development and execution of work plans in areas such as investigations, assessments and operational improvements;
oInterviewing clients and assessing external sources for the purpose of effectively obtaining relevant information;
oSynthesizing and analyzing information received including very large dataset analysis in MS Access and/or SQL Server databases;
oAssisting with the preparation of clear, logical and concise presentations and reports

Develop and sustain solid relationships with client personnel and identify opportunities to provide additional services

Assist in developing and marketing new service offerings to the industry
Job Requirements
Qualifications:

Two years of experience working in the Life Sciences industry providing professional services to the industry in one of the following areas:
oGovernment pricing, including Medicaid rebates, Medicare ASP, VA pricing or the 340B/PHS program;
oCommercial contracting, including chargebacks, rebates and administrative fees, co-promotion, contract manufacturing or royalty agreements;
oGovernment grants and contracts
oFraud investigations or accounting or auditing procedures around revenue and contracts

Experience with one of the following departments: Internal Audit, Compliance, Contracts, Grants, Information Technology or Legal

Experience working with very large datasets, procedures and controls or software systems around contracts or government pricing

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university

Able to travel
