Senior Analyst -Sales Finance (Albertsons/SV)

* Conduct analyses of financial investments (post event analysis, investment funding requests, slotting investments)

* Maintain and understand scorecards to track customer execution (financials, share, SROT guidelines, forecasting accuracy)

* Assist sales team members in resolving issues with non-compliance to QTG policies

* Work with sales teams and financial tools (promotional trackers, calendars, LAPS/compass reporting, IRI data) to communicate balance of year expectations

* Proactively seek means to reduce forecast variances

* Assist in preparing and communicating forecast presentations to business units

* Identify and present potential risks and opportunities

Planning
* Work with account managers to build customer plans

* Assist with plan entry into company planning tools

* Review customer plans to ensure SROT compliance

* Assist finance manager in preparing communication/presentation to Business Units

Period Reporting
* Develop customer level trade spending accruals based on sale volumes

* Ensure promotion event system compliance through working with system analysts and account managers

* Complete period close reporting and provide clear explanations of performance results/variances to plan, forecast and last year

* Assist manager in preparation for period business reviews

* Conduct balance sheet liability analyses and communicated possible over/under accruals to finance manager and Business Units

* Provide full support for SOX documentation needs

* Maintain and distribute financial reporting
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor Degree (Masters is a plus)

* 5+ years of financial analytical/planning experience

* Ability to identify issues and develop workable solutions

* Ability to prioritize, organize and multitask to cover deliverables
